Príncipe de Gales multifunctional building La Reina, Santiago de Chile
All-purpose building
We are at the junction of Américo Vespucio and Príncipe de Gales, an emblematic corner of Santiago located at entrance to the La Reina district. It is here that this project is being developed, comprising a multifunctional building. A firm and resounding commitment to a combination of uses that helps to generate synergies between residence, work, leisure and sport.
A building where housing coexists with areas dedicated to offices, shopping, food and culture, such as cinemas and theatres, health, event or sports centres and so on. All of which is complemented by a park that allows pedestrian traffic to permeate the surrounding area as well as towards the Príncipe de Gales metro station.
The building’s two-level rooftop houses a large fine dining area with independent access via direct panoramic lifts from both the underground floors and the street. The excellent views of the city offered by the site, in addition to its extended hours of use, have been both enhanced and exploited.
In short, the Príncipe de Gales multifunctional building aims to be a point of reference in the city and an example of coexistence between the different uses that it houses.
