The reconversion of an industrial building

Once again, we are located in the 22@ district of Barcelona. In this case the project deals with the renovation of an industrial building to locate a mixed use of workshops related to artistic activities and office areas.

The design integrates and respects the industrial past of the area, highlighting the typical elements of a construction of these characteristics. The developed space offers a diaphanous and flexible area that can be adapted to the needs of the users.

The interior finishes and lighting enhance the existing height, leaving the structure and installations visible. In addition, a series of interior terraces allow the creation of vertical gardens.

A design that favors cultural development while respecting the industrial past of the neighborhood.
